- Whenever I'm not researching or writing, I'm traveling--Europe, North America and the Caribbean . And I love to explore---beaches, the Mayan ruins and century-old Spanish cities.
At one time I considered a career as an artist. My art has been in exhibits and I've sold both drawings and paintings. In contrast to my quiet side, I'm also an advanced belt in karate and weaponry. Latin dancing and scuba diving are my other interests.
Fluent in German and English, I have a smattering of French and am presently learning Spanish.
As well as being a teacher for many years, I had careers in the hotel and travel industries. Indulging my creative passion at every opportunity, I now write mystery-romance, sensuous romance and am starting a paranormal romance. Check out my blogs on myspace and request me.

I'm author of the ADIE STURM SERIES.
My action-packed release A Corpse for Cozumel, is the first book in a murder mystery series. It tingles with romance as the plot twists and turns from the cold of Canada to the hot, moist breeze of Cozumel -- a place where dreams are made reality and fantasies come true. Adie Sturm follows her instincts when it comes to men and murder. She's the strong heroine you've been waiting for. Like me, she's an advanced belt in karate. Don't get me wrong ... she's a sultry lady who attracts men like magic but she's a woman with heart.
So why set my series in Cozumel? It's more than turquoise surf lapping on white powdery beaches. It's the home of the Mayan fertility goddess -- Ixchel. Does that conjure up images? Luckily for us, the Mayans discovered chocolate. Bite in. Adie Sturm would. Experience the release of endorphins and the pleasure principal with Adie when she meets two sinfully delicious hotties - like chocolate.
Days of the Dead (May release) and The Curse of the Carnaval (coming soon) are the suspenseful continuation of Adie Sturm's adventure with murder and romance.

You sound like such an awesome person and I wish I could travel to all those places. I hope to get to know you better and see everything you do. I am shocked, so much an artist but then in karate too? I suppose it is its own art.
