About Me:
PERSONAL PROFILE ~ Rev. L.A. Artis is a friend of God and her archangel's one and only. She is the happy, blessed and joyous wife of Michael B. Artis and together they are the parents of three beautiful children. She was reared by goodly and godly parents - Deacon Leroy Smith and Sister Grace J. Smith. She is the second of their four children - all of whom are saved, independent, strong and fiercely loyal to God, family and Kingdom building.

MINISTRY PROFILE ~ EVANGELIST LENORE A. SMITH-ARTIS accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour at the tender age of eight. At the age of fifteen, she heard the voice of the Lord summoning her to a life of service and like the child Samuel her answer was, "Speak Lord for thy servant heareth Thee."

EVANGELIST L.A. ARTIS prepared herself to rightly divide the Word of Truth at United Christian College and at New Jersey City University. She earned a B.A. degree in English Literature from Bloomfield College. She is an award winning poet whose poetry has been featured in literary anthologies.

EVANGELIST L.A. ARTIS is an anointed, consecrated, compassionate, humble and dedicated vessel of the Lord. The Lord hath placed in her mouth a mighty, prophetic, bold and fresh Word for such a time as this. She is mightily graced with the ministry of demonstration. She preaches in a way that is easy to understand and yet, permeating her unique preaching style are intellectually compelling commentary, revolutionary insights, revelation knowledge, parabolic teaching, and contemporary practical applications founded in the timeless tenets of faith, righteousness and holiness. She is the founder and CEO of L.A. Artis Ministries, Inc. an evangelistic, deliverance and counseling ministry with a special focus on women and youth. The ministry was incorporated in the State of New Jersey on September 17, 2002 with her husband, Michael B. Artis and mother, Mother Grace J. Smith serving as charter members, board members and trustees. She has gone on to establish LambSpeak, Inc., a charitable foundation established to provide education, therapy and treatment for children struggling to acquire speech, communication and language skills. EVANGELIST L.A. ARTIS is a faithful member of Union Gospel Tabernacle, United Holy Church of America, Inc. located at 756 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Newark, New Jersey 07102. She is a licensed minister in good standing with the United Holy Church of America, Inc. When she is not out traveling ministering the Gospel, she can be found serving her local assembly as an Associate Minister, Intercessor and Altar Worker. She is the founder of Cross Training Youth Ministries. The Lord has given her a relevant Word for the youth as well as a heart -- better yet, a burning passion for the souls of this generation.

Through revivals, conferences, seminars and retreats her cutting edge ministry has touched, impacted and changed thousands. Her powerful messages of salvation, healing and deliverance are attracting an international audience.

She is a happy wife, the devoted mother of three beautiful children, a spiritual mother to many, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a loyal friend.

SHE IS A TRUE SERVANT OF GOD!

My dad's mother was Cherokee. The things that were taught to us -- the things that were passed down - respect for life, for people and for family were things my grandmother passed down.

Come on Over

I'm over at a few other blogs today. If you get a chance, come on over to see the Christmas Decorations at http://acmeauthorslink.blogspot.com/

At http://bloodredpencil.blogspot.com/  the topic is Spoiled Milk. Ever sit down to read a good book and been disappointed?

If you haven't yet, check out the post below about the Paper War.

Thanks,
Morgan Mandel

Paper War

I've been waging a war on paper the last few days. So far, paper is winning. The more I clean up, the more of it I find. The problem is, for much of it, I feel an obligation to do a thorough examination and decide whether or not it's worth keeping.

The mailperson is my enemy. He, sometimes she, keeps leaving more paper in my mail box. I'm not talking about my Christmas cards, which I cherish, but all the other stuff dropped off for me to sort out. At times it's torture to come home and see the new pile the DH has set on the kitchen table.

I've discovered tons of magazines over a year old. They were trying to hide in a magazine holder on the side of the couch, but not doing a good job of it, since they were spilling over. Of course, I decided to check the headings on the covers to see if some of the information inside might prove valuable. Wouldn't you know it, I was right. Many articles seemed to good to give up.

I've already mentioned here before about how I also have a compulsion to print out emails that seem important to me. The result is I have lots of important pieces of paper. When there's an abundance, which is the most important? And, where's the one I really need? It is a quandary.

What about you? Is paper your enemy? Are you also waging a war against it? Who is winning?
