About Me:
My name is Marsha and over the years I have played many roles... Grand-daughter, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and healer. My favorite role is as a single Grand-mother who likes to heal.

I am a self-employed Registered Massage Therapist, and own a business called "Dragonfly Massage and Energywork'. I am qualified in Massage, Triggerpoint, EFT-ADV (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and Reiki. I am Master Teacher of many energy systems, some of which are Usui, Celtic, Kundalini, Atlantis Healing Systems, Ethereal Flowers, Ethereal Herbs, and Ethereal Crystals. During the healing sessions I also use Crystal therapy, Aromatherapy, Accupressure, Switchwords, Lightforce therapy and Ionic foot bath. I also run a Ning page called Energy's Soul Mission which incorporates all that I am.

Visit Energy's Soul Mission

I share my life with 2 dogs, a 2 yr old Yorkie called Miss Ibbie; and Cicada, a 7 yr old Shepherd Staffordshire cross. I love to paint, work in the garden, work with clay, read, write and work on the computer. Whereas, I enjoy my life as a healer immensely, lately I have developed a tremendous itch to write, I even dream about it. Writers are popping up all around me, with different levels of experience???

Favorite Bookstores on land or cyberspace
My local bookstores of course... Elephants in the Attic, Elmtree, Forget-Me-Not Flowers... Then, if I must, I will expand to the box stores which all seem the same... Chapters, Amazon, EBay, etc.

"In any way that men love me in that same way they find my love: for many are the paths of men, but they all in the end come to me."

-- Song of God, Bhagavad Gita

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."

"The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul- light magic of the innermost life of our self. The energy of the stars becomes us. We become the energy of the stars. Stardust and spirit unite and we begin: One with the universe. Whole and holy."

-- Dennis J. Kucinich

"Practicing the Law of Giving is very simple: if you want joy, give joy to others;

if you want love, learn to give love; if you want attention and appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation; if you want material affluence, help others to become materially affluent.

In fact, the easiest way to get what you want is to help others get what they want.

"Chronos is clocks, deadlines, watches, calendars, agendas, planners, schedules, beepers.
Chronos is time at her worst. Chronos keeps track... Chronos is the world's time.
Kairos is transcendence, infinity, reverence, joy, passion, love, the Sacred.
Kairos is intimacy with the Real. Kairos is time at her best. ...

Chronos requires speed so that it won't be wasted.
Kairos requires space so that it might be savored.
We do in chronos. In kairos we're allowed to be ...
It takes only a moment to cross over from chronos into kairos, but it does take a moment.
All that kairos asks is our willingness to stop running long enough to hear the music of the spheres."

MORGAN'S OWN BLOGSPOT

Come on Over

I'm over at a few other blogs today. If you get a chance, come on over to see the Christmas Decorations at http://acmeauthorslink.blogspot.com/

At http://bloodredpencil.blogspot.com/  the topic is Spoiled Milk. Ever sit down to read a good book and been disappointed?

If you haven't yet, check out the post below about the Paper War.

Thanks,
Morgan Mandel

Paper War

I've been waging a war on paper the last few days. So far, paper is winning. The more I clean up, the more of it I find. The problem is, for much of it, I feel an obligation to do a thorough examination and decide whether or not it's worth keeping.

The mailperson is my enemy. He, sometimes she, keeps leaving more paper in my mail box. I'm not talking about my Christmas cards, which I cherish, but all the other stuff dropped off for me to sort out. At times it's torture to come home and see the new pile the DH has set on the kitchen table.

I've discovered tons of magazines over a year old. They were trying to hide in a magazine holder on the side of the couch, but not doing a good job of it, since they were spilling over. Of course, I decided to check the headings on the covers to see if some of the information inside might prove valuable. Wouldn't you know it, I was right. Many articles seemed to good to give up.

I've already mentioned here before about how I also have a compulsion to print out emails that seem important to me. The result is I have lots of important pieces of paper. When there's an abundance, which is the most important? And, where's the one I really need? It is a quandary.

What about you? Is paper your enemy? Are you also waging a war against it? Who is winning?

Library Displays - See Make Mine Mystery Monday

Have you tried a library display? If you want to see mine, come on over to Make Mine Mystery on Monday.

Thanks,
Morgan
