Just got back from vacation in Colorado the other day, and I posted a short slideshow on my Bookplace profile. If you need to escape the world for a minute, take a look at the photos. It was absolutely gorgeous out there!
And, of course, I got ZERO writing done while we were there, but what the heck? LOL

At 9:59pm on July 9, 2007, Mary Chapman said…: God, I wish! For some reason, summer seems busier than ever! Heaven knows I've tried, but I've only managed to write about 500 words this week. Well, I've written more, but I've only kept about 500 of them. Arrggh. It's so frustrating.
Nevertheless, I'm still pounding away at the keyboard. I figure if I do that long enough, I'll eventually write more words that I want to keep. LOL
Hope you're being more productive than I!

I have a concert this afternoon--last one of the season. Yay!--so I'm trying to relax a bit before getting ready to head out to the venue. We had a 4-hr rehearsal at 8:30 yesterday morning, and then I hit the gym afterward, so needless to say, my house still vaguely resembles tornado-aftermath. Ah well. Can't rush into cleaning up - my husband could possibly keel over from shock, if I did. LOL
I'm playing around with a WIP, and I have feeling that I'll be starting fresh. Ah well. What's a few drafts here and there? ;)
